I still don't understand the following:
1. Why Popadopolous (sic), Flynn, Manafort, Cohen did not fight Mueller's subpoenas. They weren't accused of a crime as yet.
2. Why they didn't they claim the the 5th or just say "I can't recall." in the interviews.
3. Why they lied and admitted to it later for a deal. Other than Flynn, others are going to jail even after immunity when they lied again. These are our brightest in DC?

Even I know interrogators continue to phrase questions in different ways to catch someone re-phrasing their own answers. That equates to lying/perjury. Detectives do it every day in local municipalities. Don't ever talk to a LEO without an attorney, not ever.

I watch the show "Cops" often, and the arresting street LEO's ask the perp many times what occurred. Once the perp answers in a different way, the cuffs go on. Of course, most of those trash perps are lying from the start. My Wife and I get so many laughs with the perps' excuses.
"I just bought this car yesterday, no, don't know his name."
"I don't know how that got in my pants. Or, it's not my pants. Or someone borrowed them"
"That's not my purse." ID inside shows otherwise.
"I just picked her up to give her a ride."
"She pushed me first."
"I didn't pull over because I was afraid." Used constantly for chases.
"I didn't know he had those drugs." Found within reach of the driver.
