"Is that your experience "

Think it was Christmas Break from SIU, 1970. Went to a party with some pre-college friends. One of them was doing some Blue Dot acid, (Paper with a blue ink dot on it, and a drop of Whothehellknows.) "Purple bricks melting..." is a direct quote, with a weird look, as he drooled. I have that kind of memory.

Heard, later, that he tried to ride his brand new Kawasaki, stoned. Head on into a brick wall.

He wasn't missed.

Oregon stoners won't be missed, either. Anyone stupid enough to fiddlef#ck with their neurons, looking for some Higher Understanding, is disposable.

“Anyone stupid enough to fiddlef#ck with their neurons, looking for some Higher Understanding, is disposable.”

What an ignorant, truly hateful thing to say. Does that go for all drugs? Or just illegal drugs, that you wish death on people who use them?

What about all the recent studies showing positive, life saving results for troops (and others) with severe, life threatening PTSD? LSD and psybocilin (and extasy!) change their lives for the better, save their lives in fact. Already in the approval pipelineprocess for widespread treatment. Do you wish death on them, too?

Jerk.

You seem like a pretty decent guy. But you are stone-wrong with that absurd statement of yours.

All we human beings, who are fortunate enough to be aware of history, would have missed many of the greatest contributions and finest works and words of poets, writers, musicians, architects, scientists, philosophers, etc., etc., etc. if they hadn't EXPANDED their minds in one way or another.

I feel a little sorry for people like you, who for one reason or another, develop a immovable, fixed belief about a subject from a VERY LIMITED set of circumstances.

*******

Anyhow, thanks for your thoughts.
