We knew (or at least feared) that this was coming, but Friday saw the finalization of the new biofuels – specifically ethanol – blending requirements for 2019 and 2020. And true to the promises that President Trump made to Iowa politicians, we did not see any significant reductions in the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) mandates. In fact, they went up, much the same as under Obama’s EPA. (EPA website)

You know Wawa? I was by one yesterday and filled up on zero ethanol gasoline. My lawnmower loves it. Runs with more grass cutting power.
I know Wawa as an eastern fuel depot.
I’ve not been so far East for a couple of years.

Since ethanol is 100 octane, what level crap are the refiners blending it with to end up at 87....its the low grade gas giving any problems, not the race car fuel.
I run ethanol in anything from a 41 chevy that I’ve owned for a decade, BS gas pumps, generators all the way up to welder generators..........without problems

the low grade gas, lets the refiners extract a extra gal of higher value diesel fuel from each barrel....they love it.
Too many Corn Sucking farmers with their K Street Lobbyist to make ethanol go away.
Only ethanol free in my vehicles. My 2015 F150 often breaks 32 MPG on a fresh tank from Pocatello to Idaho Falls at 55 MPH max. Doing 80 MPH on I-15 drops to 21 MPG.
All the motorcycles get ethanol free.
