More than a few of the comments on this thread and other other related threads are disgraceful and we will likely see more over the coming days. This will leave a stain on the memory of FreeRepublic and its well deserved reputation.
All the derogatory comments are made from a band wagon. The comments are in effect the poster patting himself on the back for increasing his self esteem by being aboard the band wagon
It was stunningly wonderful to see our troops honor the office of the Presidency and Bushes military service throughout transporting his body to Washington. It was as I watched our military my eyes welled with tears for the great service they do for our country.....in war, in peace and at the time of death they always stand tall and do their duty.
If for no other reason people should respect the office and the military who has done all this work to honor the Presidency......one day Pres. Trump will also be honored so.
