“I have a young woman in my class named Princess Leah. That is her first name. Every time I call her name shes looking away while the other kids laugh.”
WTF is wrong with parents who do this? It seems like the ultimate “hey, look at me! Look at me!” move.
My daughter is named Lea. I can’t fathom ever thinking “hey, lets just put princess before her name on her birth certificate.” She’ll love that when she’s an adult. My god..............
I agree. It almost seems related to Munchausen's By Proxy Syndrome, which also seems to be behind a great deal (if not all) of the "transgender child" phenomenon.
The parent wants attention regardless of the harm to the child.
