26,000 more suicides?
Some people just can’t handle hot weather.
Around five or six years ago....I read a piece where a PhD guy had done statistics collection and shocked folks by saying that there is a prevalence to a higher rate of suicide in late spring to mid summer. Most folks were expecting it to be in January and February. But I can’t see global warming being some trigger-action to a higher rate. If Facebook suddenly collapsed and wouldn’t exist....I could see a thousand people going out and maybe giving up on life.
