U.S. Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., lashed out at Republicans via Twitter on Sunday night, accusing the GOP of “drooling” in anticipation of the 29-year-old’s every misstep.
“Maybe instead of Republicans drooling over every minute of footage of me in slow-mo, waiting to chop up word slips that I correct in real-tomd (sic),” she wrote, “they [should] actually step up enough to make the argument they want to make: that they don’t believe people deserve a right to healthcare.”
She later tweeted a correction on the spelling of “real-time.
It was the latest in a series of complaints the socialist political newcomer has made on social media since winning her election Nov. 6 in New York’s 14th Congressional District, which includes parts of New York City.
On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez complained that critics were calling her “divisive” because she participated in a demonstration about climate change two days earlier outside the office of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
“When I respectfully join young people in an action promoting climate action while encouraging leadership decisions, it’s ‘divisive,’” she tweeted.

That said, her "demonstration" was far from peaceful. And as to her complaints about terming the invasion on our southern border an invasion, now the Mexicans are calling it an invasion.
I predict she'll be a very unaccomplished but very entertaining congressperson.
Maybe she should shut her trap and not give us a daily dose of very funny stuff.

She is right about one thing, I do not believe health care is a right. The medical industry offers a commodity for which you need to pay. I guess I cannot wait for the Left to decide that owning a car is a right. They have already decided that owning a cell phone is a right and living off hard working Americans is a right.....that last one even for people in this country illegally.

I have been reading on my twitter feed that some conservatives think she is being branded by the media and the socialist left as a “friendly hometown kind of girl” and “innocent and naive” and that it will be hard to attack her like previous candidates. And to not underestimate her voice and how she can reach people. We need to challenge her ideas and policies and not get in the muck with this other stuff. They think she triggers the right like Trump triggers the left. Not sure I agree, but it is something to think about.
But she are a Boston University grajuate!
