President Gerald Ford lived in Park Fairfax(?) in Alexandria, VA when he was a Congressman.
She has no kids and makes $7500/mo. Rent will be a couple Grand, leaving about 5 Grand for the rest of things. If she cannot make it on that, she’s as dumb as we suspect.
This is so crazy. She will have no problem crashing with someone there, until she starts getting paid from Congress in January. Heck she might even be invited to live with some nice liberal or Hispanic family for the duration of her time in Washington. And they might even let her live there rent free, because they love her so much because of politics.
I hear what she’s saying, but in her particular case, she has no problems at all.
Someone else who got a new job in a new city and has to move might have problems with this, but she herself will not have those problems.
Ya, what’s with this “partner”? Is he like a boyfriend? Do they live together? Does he work and contribute to household finances? What’s the deal here?
How can someone as smart as this, especially in economics, not have three month’s rent worth of savings? How is this possible?
I saw “partner” too and immediately got a little ill - WTH is wrong with people these days? It’s either your boyfriend or girlfriend - “partner” in the context she’s using it is elitist drivel.
