Dem Sinema pulls ahead of McSally in Arizona Senate race
The Hill ^ | 11/9/18 | Lisa Hagen

Posted on 11/09/2018 3:50:38 AM PST by DoodleDawg

Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D) took the lead in Arizona’s too-close-to-call Senate race on Thursday night, holding a thin lead of 9,610 votes over Rep. Martha McSally (R).

Sinema holds a 0.5-point lead with votes rolling in, predominantly from Maricopa County, according to new numbers from the Arizona secretary of state's website. Votes were also posted from Pinal and Gila counties as well as Pima County, a Democratic-leaning county that’s home to the city Tucson.

The tally marks a shift from McSally’s initial 1-point lead as of earlier on Thursday, when the GOP congresswoman was up by 17,073 votes.

An Arizona source told The Hill that the latest numbers came from roughly 150,000 votes from Maricopa County, with another 345,000 outstanding votes still left from that county, which includes the capital of Phoenix, as well as Sinema's own congressional district.

Larry Schweikart’s twitter feed is somewhat encouraging regarding this counting of these mail-in ballots. It is mystifying why the close races are called early when so many outstanding ballots remain to be counted.

Conservatives need to breed, pure & simple. This is demographics at work..

Feel free to do so, you have my blessing....but that’s a hard pass for me. I have no desire whatsoever for children.

In CA, at least in Orange County where I live, the Absentee Ballots are counted first, not last.

500,000 more votes to count... and from what I understand are from R districts...

I don't know suburban Phoenix, but if they're all from Maricopa County then Sinema won there. If they're from Pima County (Tucson) then Sinema won there by a larger margin.

I didn’t forget! That was a later steal. Coleman had no chance with Democrats counting ballots.

So much for optimism. Latest from LS twitter:

One GOP source tells me that it is likely Enema is going to win this and (this person's take) Ducey will then appoint McSally as Senator When Jon Kyl steps down next year.

We can’t even produce the children (never mind the education problem). Many “white” areas are majority non-white when you look at the under-20 demographic. That results in a permanent Dem majority, and has them flipping states like Georgia, Texas, and Florida into their column.

I’ve done so, and am watching my children grow up in a primarily non-white environment; the older people are white, and the younger people aren’t. Where do you think this leads? We know where it leads: Western Europe has to import murderous hordes just to prevent ghost towns all over the continent.

We won’t repeal voting for women for a few more decades - when our future Muslim/Latino country goes full sharia/macho.

“Where do you think this leads? ”

We know where the demographics are leading to. We here are whistling past the graveyard, just preaching to the choir. I think most of us here know that, but we want to feel optimistic.

Critical leftist mass is nearly achieved — immigrant and domestic entitlement seekers are numerous and increasing, today’s teenagers will soon vote, true Christianianity is on life support, half of Americans get more $ than they pay at tax time, GOPe is owned, under-40’s are highly ignorant of history, MSM is owned by leftists, and women and black voters will not miraculously switch from emotional to logical.

Trump may be our loud last gasp; the rats+MSM will do a thousand cuts on him and conservatives, for theater for the above mentioned folks. The best white seniors can do may be delaying their euthanasia prescription.

Have a great weekend! :)

Critical mass was already achieved in 2012, when a failed President Obama was re-elected. Trump’s victory over Clinton was only achieved because of her less-than-stellar numbers with blacks and Hispanics; make no mistake, it was a very close race - and Trump won as an independent for all intents and purposes. These House races show that critical mass.

Agree.

Conservative patriots and Christians are unrepresented these days. We are ignored, demonized and silenced by the Uniparty, MSM and now social media.

So, why should we pay taxes?

“No taxation without representation!” was the chant of the American Revolution I.

Our chant should be what the Founding Fathers created: “No representation without taxation!”. Only taxpayers (landowners, back then) could vote; many white men couldn’t, because they didn’t contribute. All of the solid Dem areas of this country are represented by voters who contribute little or nothing. Never mind what elites say about the taxes paid from municipalities or states; the fact is the Dems are dependent (in every statewide and national election) on a welfare voting bloc.

Many young white people today have decided they won’t pay taxes - or even work.

“All of the solid Dem areas of this country are represented by voters who contribute little or nothing. ”

That’s Romney’s 47% (over 50% now), that recieve more $$$ at tax time than they contribute.

Absolutely - but Repubs can still win in the electoral college because of where those 47% (now higher) live. It is getting harder, though.
