Voted at 7:30am. New voting machines...simply electronic updates for the old ones...still uses paper ballots.
Got stuck behind an older couple who managed to break the machine so I had to wait for 10 minutes for the attendants to get it unjammed.

Why do retired people have to go out into a weekday rush hour to vote/shop when working people need to get things done quickly? I mean, they've got all day.

I voted early this morning, shortly after the poll opened. I vote in every election (general, primary, midterm, etc.), and the turnout this morning was very heavy for our neighborhood. I counted fifty people ahead of me in line, and when I had finished voting and came out of the hall the line was longer than it was when I first arrived. This is the heaviest turnout at that hour for a midterm I’ve ever seen. We used to be a conservative area, but in the last few years quite a number of Cook County democrats have moved out our way and have turned our once red county purple. Not a good sign for the future, as Democrats destroy all they come in contact with.

Three people in front of me got to the front desk only to find out they were in the wrong precinct.

I mean, how do you screw that up?

wife and I voted mid-morning at edge of town school in northeast NC. The turnout was light but steady - republican ran unopposed - wishy-washy Walter Jones. I wish for a conservative republican some day.

How did you get to vote 5 times? The only ones who get to vote 5 times are dead dems.

Voted absentee weeks ago.

BUT STUNNING CHANGE AT THE POLLS IN NUMBERS OF VOTERS SHOWING UP!!!!

BACKED BY MATH!!

Wife voted this morning and according to my math, votes increased by 1700 percent since the last time she voted midterms!!!!

She was number 85 today. She said she remembers being number 5 last time.

This was at 8am on staten island.

Within 15 minutes on either side of the last time she voted midterms.

City of Pittsburgh.

There is no Republican candidate for US Representative - only useless Mike Doyle, the Dem.

No Republican candidate for State Senator nor State Rep.

I had to write in my wife. She wrote me in.

Pittsburgh is hopeless for Conservatives - Unions are strong and stupid here. Simply anachronistic.

There is ballot item - “Children’s Fund” - to raise property taxes “for the children.” I almost barfed.

Idiots in my neighborhood are showing Conor Lamb yard signs, but he’s NOT IN THIS DISTRICT. Shows how dumb dems are.

Not too many in line. Only good thing was the candy bars they gave out.

My husband and I just went to vote in the southern Indiana area, and the line was crazy long...I’ve never ever seen it this crowded, even during a presidential election, let alone today...for a midterm election. Normally, I would have stood in line, no matter how long it took, BUT, I am in a walking boot due to foot surgery a few weeks ago, and I cannot stand very long at all. BUT, don’t you worry, we ARE going back in about an hour to vote. I would crawl over broken glass to vote and exercise my right to do so!

Voted in NE Columbia sc. Took almost an hour. Never seen lines like this. Mostly elderly; very few students.

While I don’t approve of early voting, I voted the second day of early voting in NC. At my age I never know and wanted to get my vote in just in case I died before Election Day!
