I guess stationing them in Germany to stand by and watch Muslims riot is a MUCH better use of our tax dollars...

Yes, defending our border is a waste of money! What a half-wit

These people want a war.

Welfare and food stamps are the biggest examples of waste fraud and abuse...

I hope this leads to a permanent militarization of the southern border, so stuff it liberal and globalist losers.

Well, feeding, housing and medicating them is “FWA” of our tax dollars.

You want to talk about waste, fraud and abuse? How about Bill Clinton bombing an aspirin factory in Iraq, or sending Rangers and Special Forces into Somalia on the request of the UN to deal with warlords in the area, and not providing them with the proper equipment to defend themselves? How about four Americans, one an Ambassador being left to die in Benghazi without any assistance?

And what are our troops in Afghanistan, the Korean DMZ, and just about everywhere else except defending our border?

So focusing on the #1 job assigned to the President is waste, fraud and abuse? This Georgetown “professor” is a perfect example of waste, fraud and abuse.

And if they DO show up, we’ll have waste, fraud, and abuse for generations, as we pay for all of their “needs” with our hard-earned money.

I guess I would rather risk paying some of the military (which is already an ongoing expense) for these border operations, if the payoff is that it deters thousands and then millions of illegals from invading our land to mooch off of the U S taxpayers.

I am sick of hearing about the “bridge to nowhere” .
It was a bridge from Ketchikan Island Alaska to the island where the airport was.
I was stationed in Ketchikan with the Coast Guard in the late 80’s.
Ketchikan could sure have used that bridge. Very useful to the people who lived there. The ferry was a pain in the ass.
I wish people would stop repeating the overused, ridiculous phrase without knowing the details of the bridge.

AND it’s a whole lot cheaper than feeding generations of welfare bums spawned by these invaders. Some quick analysis. Assume...

1. 15,000 get in. That ignores the 2019 caravan of 50,000 that would trigger.
2. Each person getting in has four kids.
3. After four generations, you have 1.3 million people spawned by those original 15,000.
4. Some do assimilate. Let’s be optimistic and say 60% will lead independent, successful contributing lives and won’t be a drag on society. You still have 40% living on welfare. That is one-half million people (cumulative) on welfare.
5. They get $30,000 per year in all sorts of benefits for 30 years. Total SWAG here.

6. BOTTOM LINE: We will spend 460 BILLION dollars on the 15,000 invaders and their spawn.

How much is this border defensive / invader repelling action costing? $1 billion?

I’ll take a 500:1 Benefit to Cost ratio any day of the week.
