Reporter Has Details of Cesar Sayoc’s 2002 Chilling Bomb Threat
Independent Sentinel ^ | October 26, 2018 | S.Noble

Posted on 10/26/2018 3:51:02 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

A reporter named Karla Ray has received Cesar Sayoc’s arrest record and other related information for a bomb threat he made in 2002. While he has been in trouble with the law multiple times since 1991, many of his crimes were petty, but not the bomb threat. It’s chilling.

In a series of tweets, Ms. Ray posted the derails of the report. In the report, he is quoted as saying his attack would be worse than 9/11.

“On the listed date and time, the defendant contacted a Florida Power & Light company at 4200 N. Flagler by telephone and threatened to blow up FPL and that “it would be worse than September 11. Defendant also threatened that something would happen to the FPL representative if they cut his electricity.”

In another report from the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office, Sayoc was upset about the amount he was being billed, and told the FPL customer service rep “FPL will get what they deserve and will be worse than 9/11.” He reportedly told the customer service rep that he “doesn’t make threats, he makes promises,” and stated that he was “going to blow her head off.”

2002? LONG before Mr. Trump declared his candidacy for President - and we will be asked to believe this ordinary, peaceful, law-abiding man was driven to commit these acts from listening to ‘inflammatory rhetoric’ from the White House.

MAGAbomber already is their spin on this...

Why was this nutbag on the loose? He apparently spent much of his time raving and threatening people.

He was a Dem, btw, and only became a Republican in 2016, although it’s not clear why. He is apparently of Filipino and Italian descent, is from Brooklyn...but was portraying himself as a Seminole??? Talk about a screw loose. Everybody probably knew he was going to go over the edge at some point, but as in the case of all the school killers, etc., the authorities just figured they’d wait until he really did kill someone. Or create such bad publicity that they had to act. Sorry, but that’s not good enough.

Illegal to vote in Florida as a convicted felon or register as a republican in 2016 since his felony convictions were in years prior.

Total DemonRat con job

This reeks of a typical FBI/BATFE entrapment setup. The fact that they had prior knowledge of him and contact with him means they had him in their rolodex as a possible future patsie. He’s just a dumbass who probably talked too much politics. Same stitchup they ran on Papadopolous.

If I were an enterprising reporter I’d be dredging all his hangouts to find out if he had recently acquired a new (FBI/BATFE supplied) buddy who talked a lot of politics with him, maybe got him a side job or otherwise funneled some cash his way.

“What did Trump say in 2002 that made him do that?”

EXACTLY! To go a step further, I'd very much like to know what the voting records and party affiliations are of those convicted each year .

I am curious. Is a person who phones in a bomb threat naming a target and the reason for that target(a personal reason not a political one by the way)displaying the same mental state as a person who mass mails faked bombs to various political targets without giving a reason for the threat?

I don’t think we could call it an escalation. To me that would mean ramping up the personal reasons for sending out the “bombs”. Which would mean an ego that would just have to let the world know why the people were being targeted. The 2002 threat strikes me as a person who wants personal involvement. He wants to hear the reaction to the threat. How does that square with this current situation?

Also I find it odd that there is no evidence (AFAIK) of any preoccupation with other infamous bombers. I would also expect there to have been some trial runs. Do we know if he sent similar packages matching the overall shape and weight to see if such packages got flagged by security or the post office?

Filipinos don’t qualify for affirmative action. If he can pass for an ethnicity which does, it could help him get a job.

The man is short three lug nuts on each one of his wheels. His family says that his heavy use of steroids affected his behavior.

Note that he is not Hispanic. He is Filipino and Italian.

So the devices he sent to the rats would have caused something worse than 9/11 funny! A pack of fire crackers would be more frightening!
