In Ohio, making a false alarm is a first-degree misdemeanor. If found guilty, the student could face a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each instance. Nothing will come of it. She gave us a 'teachable moment' about violence against the LBGTXYZ community not a teachable moment about the ever growing list of hate crime hoaxes.

What does the student government need to “heal” from? Presumably from having to deal with the uncomfortable fact that people belonging to so-called victims groups tell whopping lies in order to enhance their victim status.
