I think Trump, his legal counsel, Gen. Kelly, or someone else in the inner circle might be laying out all the evidence of criminal activity committed by Rosenstien and his fellow conspirators; and offering him a deal he can’t refuse.
That is the most probable reason.
They can have a nice talk during the flight and when they land, Rosenstein will have had his attitude properly adjusted.
We will see.

Sure he could but the Don wants to take the Attorney General.
But I would like to see how those two human beings relate to each other. It would make a beautiful script no mater to which direction the conversation may proceed.
