It was pretty funny when he appealed to a crowd of liberals who cursed him out. But the damage Flake does to America is not funny.
Flake did vote to recommend Judge Kav from the SJC. So that is a plus.
The idea that Flake is orchestrating some kind of self serving strategy by "playing" Coons etc. is ridiculous. No way this squish has the backbone or brains to do that.
If Judge Kav ultimately gets the confirmation vote then it will turn out that Flake would have done us a favor. However, the delay is unnecessary risk and if Kav doesn't get confirmed, it will be on Flake.
