DAN BONGINO ISSUES DIRE WARNING TO GOP SENATORS ON KAVANAUGH
Daily Caller ^ | September 28, 2018 | Mike Brest

[familyop: The short video of this interview is behind the link. Impressive video!]

NRATV host Dan Bongino issued a dire warning to Republican Senators on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s behalf on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Friday.

“Tucker, if they let this guy go down, Brett Kavanaugh, if they let this character assassination of a father, a basketball coach, a son, and a dedicated public servant go down in flames,” Bongino stated. “If they let this happen, I can’t tell you, the GOP will be wiped, absolutely wiped out in the midterms. It will be a stain on them forever.”

“But I’m just begging these guys in Congress and the women on our side. Take the damn vote. Take the vote. Get them on the record. If we are going to lose, go down swinging,” he continued. “And at least we have something in the midterms to hold the people to account on in red states. And these Republicans who claim to champion our values. Take the vote. It’s time to fight.”

Bongino’s comments come hours after the GOP agreed to delay the vote for a week-long FBI investigation.

I appreciate Bongino’s words.

He puts out an excellent podcast five days a week.

I think Bongino is right - this whole event has taken on way more significance than just a Supreme Court appointment. Yes, SC appointments are significant, but this has become a Stalingrad moment in the advancing tide of anti-Trump insanity. If the GOP folds and allows the other side to “sack the city,” as it were, it will devastate morale. And demotivated voters tend not to show up to vote.

You should hear my wife! She’s not particularly conservative, just leans that way. We were talking about Kavenaugh and I said “Any woman with a son should be terrified right now about what’s being done to him.” She really got her hackles up and said in a loud angry voice “Any woman that loves a man PERIOD be it a Father, Uncle, Brother, Son, or Husband should be LIVID right now!”

I was thinking to myself if she’s this pissed, imagine what really conservative woman must be like?

I WILL NOT vote if they let this confirmation go down, BECAUSE it makes no difference WHO has the majority the Dems ALWAYS win ALWAYS!!!

So you don't think things will go better for us if we have 55 senators rather than 51? If we had 55 senators, Kavanaugh would have been confirmed long ago.

4) Legislation proposing the expansion of the Supreme Court from nine to eleven seats (too many cases for only nine, you know)...

Didn't the Doofus on the Dime attempt that trick back in 1937 (he was pushing for 15, not 11)?

Packing the Court is like the Senate nuclear option, only orders of magnitude worse. It's a slippery slope. I mean, Ruthie might not make it to 150, but there is no reason there couldn't be 151 justices! And what makes you think they'd be conservative? The whole notion of judicial review would become a joke.

28 Sept: CBS: Behind the scenes of Jeff Flake’s decision to call for an FBI probe into Kavanaugh allegations
Flake’s decision came after he spoke to senators of both parties and withstood pressure from some Republicans not to take such a step. As he considered his course of action, Flake also had a conversation with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is in charge of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation...

After talking with several senators for awhile, Flake “sort of kicked everyone out,” and he and Coons talked individually in the phone booth for around 15 minutes.
Soon afterward, Flake said he wanted to speak to FBI Director Christopher Wray. He ended up talking with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for what Coons estimated was about 10 minutes. Coons had left him alone for the conversation, but when he returned, Flake was no longer by himself...

If “they” let this thing go down,
that’s when it is absolutely time
to vote. And it will make a difference.
We have to fight to make things right.
I, for one, will be defiant until the
end. The only way to defeat this cancer
is thru the ballot box. Don’t give up,
don’t give in.

Now is not the time to bug out.

The problems confirming BK are due to the slimness of the GOP senate majority and the fact that several of its members are flaky, including especially the senator actually named Flake.

If you don't vote, the Democrats will get the majority, and the next two years of Trump's presidency will not matter, and Trump might go down in 2020. If you do vote, we will hold the House and improve the Senate, and things will get done!

In the general election, focus only on the letter after the candidate's name. Even if he or she is a totally worthless RINO, still vote R! Have you observed how business gets done in Congress? It matters which party has the majority. If you defeat a RINO in the general, it makes it more likely the 'Rats will have the majority and the chairmanships and, thus, the ability to neutralize perfectly fine conservative senators and representatives. No more conservative judges. No more tax reform. No more Spygate oversight.

You see what this fool is saying, right?

We are going to fix the problem of a small number of bad senators making messes of things because of a tight majority.....by giving people that are worse the majority.

Because that will fix things. Or something.

The way you stop those weak senators from having so much power, is by making THEIR votes irrelevant, NOT BY MAKING ALL OF THE OTHERS, AND US BY EXTENSION, IRRELEVANT!

Some of us aren’t paid to complain on TV, so Dems running things isnt a job protector.

Bongino gives you more information in one hour than your “good” talkers give you in three. He doesn’t waste half the show taking calls from a**-kissers, and he rarely talks about irrelevancies (like golf, the NFL, or the latest miracle from Apple). Yes, it’s intense, and you HAVE to give the show your full attention or you will be wasting your time. It’s not meant to be entertainment, and it doesn’t work as background sound while you do other stuff.

His background in various areas of law enforcement gives him a unique perspective that you really don’t get anywhere else. His style, rooted in his New York area upbringing, can be abrasive (sort of like Trump’s), and that bothers some people, but for pure information transfer, I don’t think there’s anyone better right now.

My guess is that the midterm election will probably not go well for the GOP if they botch this. People I’ve talked to about this are livid. People like the Judge a whole lot more than they like the GOP and Jeff Flake.

I can attest to this, many people are livid that they may botch this appointment & are frustrated with the weak GOP. Many on twitter are saying they’re done & will not even bother to vote.

There was more to what he said. He said he was exhausted and didn’t want people to take that the wrong way and that we shouldn’t give up the fight.

Kick the ballot box out from under their feet. Rope will be required.
