If the 2009 pop was 309 million and we take as true the most recent claim that 1 in 9 in the US is illegal, then there would be 34.33 million illegals in the USA.
I would believe that number.

That happened to me last month for the first time.
Happened to me at,of all places, a KFC, counter worker didn’t speak English, manager barely...when they started to argue....I said that’s OK,never mind and left...on the way out I noticed a sales slip on a tray,picked it up for store number and called HQ...told them I won’t be in that location ever again. Beside not being able to place an order,then waiting for them to decide what I ordered, the place was a mess...
Anybody who bothers to do the math will find that number incredibly more accurate than what they’ve been telling us for years, particularly given how many Spanish-speakers I run into (no English).
