Tuesday on MSNBCs Morning Joe, Willie Geist discussed Brett Kavanaughs potential confirmation to the Supreme Court, saying if confirmed, the judge would have an asterisk next to his name as long as hes there because of his sexual misconduct accusations from over 30 years ago.
According to Geist, Kavanaugh should want an independent body in the FBI to investigate the allegations to prevent the possible asterisk.
I think there are so many people behaving so badly right now, theres so much willful dishonesty, there are so many people who have made up their minds and there are people on the right who are saying shes a liar, shes making this up. You have no idea. We dont know the facts. There are people on the other side that are saying hes a liar, hes making up his side of the story. You have no idea, you dont have all the facts, said Geist.

How many asterisks next to your name if there is a dead intern?
Actually it would be a badge of Honor: “I survived a Rat party Smear attempt”
In their unholy grail maybe...
Just like Clarence Thomas, right?
Yep he only has one ass to risk. His own.
Last week I heard Geraldo contend that Justice Thomas was so affected by his ordeal that it has tarnished his entire life since then. The proof of that, he said, was that Thomas was too quiet on the bench — never says anything. I kid you not.
With this situation, the only asterisk to be placed is the one beside the names of the trashy democrats promoting this BS.
“...an asterisk next to his name as long as hes there because of his sexual misconduct accusations from over 30 years ago.”
Go ahead. There has been no court case, no proof other than 30 year old information from people that are inconsistent at best with no investigations during the incident time, and no record of anything being known about it from anyone else other than the two non-creditable “witnesses.” Therefore to say something like this publicly, or print it with an identfying asterisk and a description of why it is there, constitutes character assassination. And that falls to defamation and a huge lawsuit whether slander through verbalities or liable with print. Kavanaugh can take his pick. He has as little as 6 months to file after the asterisk is placed due to statutes of limitations for slander and a year for liable.
The press cannot hide behind the first amendment for this and the libs are going to pay a possible bundle for this one if he wants them bad enough. I think he should.

have an asterisk next to his name as long as hes there
The guy took steroids too? Is there no end to this man’s depravity?
Roger Maris is just fine with his asterisk.
Using the same logic as, “The boss may not always be right, but s/he’s always the boss.”, let’s do a new one:
“Kavanaugh may have an ‘asterisk’ by his name, but he’ll always be a full-fledged, voting, Judge on the Supreme Court of the United States.”
The “asterisk” will be just a liberal device to remind them of their own stupidity, and failure.
What the hell can the FBI do all these later???
~~~
No because the whole point is stopping Kavanaugh and everyone knows it. He was AAAALLLLLLMMMOOOOOOSSSTTTT in. Everyone knows that the only real injustice here isn’t some distant and unverifiable misdemeanor (or two) that never really happened. The injustice is that the top court is about to change in balance.
After Russia...after Russia
And if he withdraws from the nom he will forever have a big sparkling asterisk plastered all over his face. He must keep on. The Democrats cannot do any worse to him now without engaging a Sirhan Sirhan.
Itll all be forgotten.
But in front of his name it’ll say “Justice”...LOL
Nonsense.
Sheesh.
5.56mm
More like a star of honor from taking on the dregs of a failed coup.
whatever brainstorm. soon MSNBC will be a footnote
Just like Slick Willy did for 8 years.
