Days after it was revealed that the Rev. Paul Kalchik of Avondale’s Resurrection Catholic Church burned a rainbow banner that once hung in the church, Cardinal Blase Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, has removed him from his role as head of the North Side church.
“For some weeks now, I have become increasingly concerned about a number of issues at Resurrection Parish,” read a letter, signed by Cupich, to parishioners and staff at the church. “It has become clear to me that Fr. Kalchik must take time away from the parish to receive pastoral support so his needs can be assessed.”
Monsignor James Kaczorowski, pastor of Queen of Angels parish, was appointed administrator of Resurrection Parish, effective Friday evening, according to the notice.

Amazing that certain cardinals/bishops have covered for illegal activities under their authority for decades yet one priest demonstrates orthodoxy to Christ and BAM!, he’s out of there.
I thought the original article stated the deed was done by the laity?
If he has to be retrained, he might as well retrain in another more Bible centered denomination.

Seems one is no longer allowed to oppose homosexuality in the Catholic Church now.

So I have heard.
It is not only in the Catholic Church. Anyone, in the West, who speaks out against the sin of homosexuality will be attacked by society. In some countries (Canada and the UK) they'll be subject to criminal charges.
Its not that bad, yet, in the United States, but even the CEO of Mozilla was forced out because he had the temerity to support Proposition 8 (Marriage is between one man and one woman) in California. And this on his private time and dime. The Sodomite Gestapo somehow got a hold of the donation records, and had him force out of Mozilla.
So I moved from Firefox to Brave.
