Slick Robert had a counseling session and discovered a hidden memory that the policeman’s report was wrong. Since recovered memory is the thing of the day, we must believe him. Where is the Texas Ranger investigation of Ted Cruz for doubting his sincerity.

Yes of course Beto is a lying fraud.

Nevertheless Cruz does not have this in the bag. Trump had better get to Texas ASAP, and every single Texas Republican must get out to vote and bring five friends.

I watched a bit of last night’s debate. Cruz’s defense of the cop who shot some guy in his own apartment was tone-deaf and bizarre. “We don’t know what happened?” Some guy got killed by a cop in his own apartment, that’s what happened!

"Well, who are you going to believe? The politician who crashed his car while under the influence? Or the police?"
Ted Kennedy set the standard....

Robert Francis O'Rourke is a fourth-generation Irish American.

Every state has a democratic enclave but Texas breaks the mold.

A lot of people go on about how patriotic it is, but I have yet to see it.

In “tight” areas (Both in population and in control) like the tiny states in the NE it’s easy to see. There can be patriots there but they are beaten into submission. When you get a large state like Texas it’s tough to see how it works versus other large states.

Ocean waters excluded. For some reason the ocean and the heat makes people go nuts.

“Hard to believe in TX Beto would even have ANY sort of foothold - but, well, ‘The People’s Republik of Austin...”

The only reason Beto has gained any traction is because Ted Cruz is so awkward

Ouch.

Did not catch that. That is the exact opposite of what he should have said, in my view.

Still I am confident in Cruz.

He put up a heck of a scrap back during the presidential campaign.

I was totally against him at the time, since he was running against my own favourite. But he ran a very good race.

I wish him well, and hope he wins.

Trump can help him out, it seems to me.

If Cruz defeats him he can always run in MA, where people are more understanding.

So if you are in your home you must never be shot by an officer no matter WHAT the circumstances are or were?

Seriously?

Kavanaugh is stymied because of an evidenceless accusation of high-school groping 36 years ago.

Beto O’Rourke commits a DUI and leaves the scene of an accident, and Democrats applaud him.

I have often said that a Democrat could eat a live baby on the Capitol steps and the DNC and the media would cheer him, conjecture what the kid did to have it coming, and ask about his choice of barbecue sauce..... whereas a Republican could sit quietly in a church pew, and the Democrats and the media would scream for his impeachment for trespassing and aggravated mopery.

You left out the People’s Republics of Houston, San Antonio and Dallas! Once these areas achieve political dominance, Texas will turn blue over night. Oh, and you can add in the Mexican RAT Counties (now two deep) along the Rio Grande too! The $hit Kicker Texans are living in la la land if they think their state is immune. The fact the O”Rourke is anywhere near competitive tells you all you need to know about what’s coming in Texas. And it’s sad to watch.

No, but he had committed no crime, held a responsible job, had no criminal record, the officer was off duty, entered his home with no warrant, and shot him down.

If that happened to you and you survived would you be OK with it?

Always believe a Kennedy (er, the democrat politician) about ANY car accident, drunk driving incident, or death to an associate.

With President Trump's help he should be able to keep his seat. After watching part of last nights debate... Cruz did alright... kind of. He left me scratching my head in a few places. It does seem amazing that he was the runner-up in the Presidential primary. Standing side by side on the stage, Cruz is indeed very lucky that Beto is an annoying lying snarky fraud.
