He ordered an immediate release and now he has agreed to a DOI IG review process of indeterminate length, plus he did not say he would release after this review but that he could. For those who hoped for an unredacted release well before the election, now what and when is up in the air.
Not as far up in the air as you imply. I get very tired of those who think everything has to be a forward pass or it is a retreat or worse yet, the ball’s been fumbled.
President Trump emphasized that time is of the essence. He will not tolerate any more dragging of feet. He is passing off to a runner who is going to be in the clear.
