She's had 36 years to gather her thought about an alleged 7 minute event. What in the world could she possibly accomplish in a "few days" now, that she couldn't in previous 36 years?
I have a thought. She needs the extra few days to learn a completely new script that her attorneys are coaching her on. I personally believe she was shitfaced 15 year old kid that night. Can't remember all details about what happened and feels remorse and shame about what she had or had not participated in.
She's probably an alcoholic having flashbacks and because of her illness the whole country is being held ransom.
That woman doesn't need a "hearing", she's in need of intervention.
