I do not believe the killer stalked her. I full well believe he was simply out to kill a white person, a woman, preferably since they tend to put up the least amount of resistance.
You’re right that people have to be careful about revealing too much about themselves on social media. However, chances are it’s going to turn out this guy was a random psycho who simply spotted her walking down the street (as opposed to someone who first cyberstalked her).

She was out jogging around Logan Circle. Very upscale neighborhood. Had nothing to do with what she posted.
She really didn't, other than where she works—she mentioned running in the city, but it's a big city, and working out in an unnamed studio. This didn't look like a targeted assassination, but has every appearance of a completely random polar bear killing, a "murder of opportunity."
