So any woman can make a decades old, unproven claim about a Supreme Court nominee and put the nomination on hold? It’s a terrible way to run a government. It’s complete insanity.

I read Simon Wiesenthal’s “The Sunflower” about his hearing the confession of a dying Nazi soldier and how he turned around and walked out of the room after the man was finished.
Christians say God loves and forgives everyone and he was wrong not to have extended forgiveness. But the Jewish view maintains God’s power is not absolute. He can only forgive us for the sins we commit against Him. But people we have wronged, we must ask them to forgive us.
And that brings us to today. Would I be willing to forgive someone who tried to destroy my reputation? I have a good heart but I don’t see how they could repair the damage.
Maybe some things are beyond complete forgiveness.

Has anyone come forward knowing or even having dated Ford? What do they say? It is interesting and telling that no one has.
It’s true. I understand now. I can’t imagine how much anger a situation like this can cause a person to feel. Trump has been dealing with so many lies as well. Forgiveness is possible by the grace of God. When he’s ready. It seems like he is surrounded by good and decent people. I pray that’s somewhat of a sanctuary for him.
Maybe they are embarrassed and scared to come forward. They could be next.

What about all of the kids who have EVER gone to any Elite private school; are they all to be condemned as well? Do somehow manage to keep records of what they ever did/do in a special file?

My joke was this amazing guy they hired for the Lumbermans convention.....could tell the type of wood (Oak, Walnut, Birch etc etc) only by the smell.
That was my first reaction, too, but we're predisposed to think that way, so I can't say it's what she was actually thinking.
I think Blasey had a bad experience with somebody from the school.
It may not have been as horrible as she says now, and she may not even dislike the guy.
But she does dislike Trump and associates Kavanaugh with Trump, so she embellishes the story and directs her anger at Kavanaugh.
Just my theory, though.
I was a defense electronics warfare contractor in the 80’s & 90’s. I was in the region and Crystal City every week during those years.
