The NFL might have to go out and hire pop-stars and rock bands for every single game’s half-time event....just to attract viewers. Amazing to look at the spiral compared against numbers of a decade ago. No one could have predicted this type of stumble.

They just need to keep doing what they are doing. They make their bed on the other side of the cultural war. They hate the flag, they hate the military, they hate the police - they should be given community service for this mental errors - and should they persist their games banned on Sundays.

Issues beyond the kneeling are now beginning to pile-up.

Here in Pittsburgh our two star players are sitting on the sidelines having a snit. Spoiled, juvenile multi-millionaires who are having a tantrum because EVERYTHING is not going their way. Relieving themselves on the fans who enabled them to get where they are.

The NFL is going to pay a very, very high-price for coddling guys who would have been eighth-grade dropouts if they were not able to play ball.

Bring in Jackie Moon.

The NFL deserves every lost viewer and fan. Be it overproduced babble mouths reading scripted nonsense from sideline teleprompters, ruining the game with ridiculous rules, or spoiled overpaid thugs lecturing us, I am thru with the NFL.

Gotta disagree here - the product has been steadily eroding for awhile. Unlike many here, I will (attempt to) watch a little action if I remember there's a game on (like, by half-time), or I come across a game while flipping channels.

However, the end result is always the same: I can only 'watch' a few plays or a few minutes before I turn the game off. They are simply insufferably boring; no action, penalty, commercial. I mean, it's like the old midnight movies where the commercials become 10-15 minutes near the end daring you to switch.

It appears the the NFL simply has no self awareness - it's like there's hasn't been a decline, or there isn't a boycott underway. And the commercials. It's like Trump wasn't elected and it's still 2015 ie themes, emphasis, targeted audience, etc.

Crazytown - the NFL really thought they were too big. I hold they could have maybe, perhaps outlasted the political optics, but offering up unwatchable entertainment is the unpardonable sin.

The NFL is suffering from classical left wing stupidity...

You can ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

The NFL let a bunch SJW types tell them the world was flat, and they went along with it.... the rest of the world, well they knew it was round... So the NFL now deals with the consequences of ignoring reality.
