If they can't meet the standard of Ford having to stand up to cross examination they shouldn't have the hearing. That's like someone on the stand in court who the defense isn't allowed to cross examine, unacceptable and not part of any reasonable hearing.
Women are delicate though and since most of them vote democrat, they have special needs and should be given government special rights in courts of law.
