It’s funny, the screeching about this. Fact of the matter is, Anderson Cooper walked into a ditch to exaggerate the depth of floodwaters. That it happened not recently but ten years ago (!) is being treated as some sort of gotcha, but actually this demonstrates the depth of the fake news at CNN. They’ve been at it for over a decade, rather than this being a recent phenomenon.
So, post that pic with the simple caption “CNN’s Anderson Cooper exaggerating the depth of floodwaters” then watch them come running. Merely point out that Cooper himself has admitted he was standing in a ditch, while the crew remained on the street in ankle deep water, you can see the curb and the lines on the pavement. Then point out that it’s from ten years ago, making the extent of fake news even worse than we imagined.
I’ve done this several times already, and it’s very rewarding. They just clam up, lol.
Who cares what year and what hurricane ... exaggerating is exactly what he’s doing. His crew is standing in a parking lot while he is standing in a ditch. What a dolt!

Yet, there he is... standing in a swamp/ditch next to the cattails.
He came out swinging and angry, delivering a full 10 minute diatribe - yet there he is, standing among the cattails in a swampy ditch.
Someone should go out there and measure the ground - he also said that if he went back any further, he would be in water up to his neck. Another lie as we can see the porch of the home behind him is not underwater.
