I am so tired of hearing this SOB referred to as a national hero. He was a damn traitor who should have been brought up on charges the minute he landed at Travis. Instead of going to Congress,where he ran as a military hero, he should have been sent to Leavenworth for collaborating with the enemy, which would have included a dishonorable discharge.
