AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL - August 26, 2018

Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and for America: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

For what shall it profit a man,
if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul?
Mark 8:36

Heavenly Father,

We love You, Lord, our Strength, for You are our Rock and Fortress---our Deliverer; our God, our Strength, in Whom we trust; our Buckler, the Horn of our salvation, and our Strong Tower. We call upon You Lord, for You are worthy to be praised: so shall we be saved from our enemies. For You, our God live; and blessed are You, our Rock, and may You, the God of our salvation be exalted now and forever.

Father, we hear of unspeakable evil in this world. We hear daily of those who want to slay us because we confess You as our Lord. We know that You are our Strength in this time of trouble. You hide us in the shelter of Your wings until these calamities pass by. We dwell in the secret place of our Most High God and we abide in Your shadows.

Lord God, with each passing week of Donald Trump’s presidency, we see increasing vitriol, vicious attacks, and wicked schemes directed at him. We ask You to defend this man, Lord, and we confess that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We condemn every tongue that rises against him. Lord, help him to bring glory and honor unto You alone, and guide his every word and action. May Your wisdom flood his spirit and may he heed the call You have on his life.

Lord, may our military men and women choose to accept the One and only Savior, Jesus Christ. Help all to know that though they gain the whole world, they shall surely lose their souls if they do not repent and follow You. Lord, this world will profit us nothing. But in You alone is fullness of joy. Help these precious servants to seek You, find You, accept You, love You, follow You, and serve You.

Father, may Israel be blessed and protected from all those who seek their destruction. We know that You save Your anointed. May all Israel hear You from Your holy heaven with the saving strength of Your right hand. For You will help them and deliver them; You will deliver them from the wicked and save them, because they trust in You.

Lord God, we trust in You and praise You, for You are the health of our countenance and our God. Let Your light and Your truth lead us this day and through eternity. Blessed is the Name of the Lord, the Most High God. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Amen, Faith

Joining in prayer for our beloved America and lifting up President Trump to His protection.

May the political machinations of the enemy within be frustrated. May hidden agendas be revealed. May all masks of hypocrisy be ripped off. And may evil be exposed to the Light and dealt with a deadly blow.

Lifting up all those who put themselves in harm’s way to keep us safe—home and aboard. Keep them safe and be their shield, Lord.

May revival spark in our hearts. May America be great again, because her people are clothed in Your righteousness, Lord.

Lord forgive us for our many sins and may you continue to uphold our president and those who who lead our nation honorably. Protect them against the forces of evil who are out to destroy them.

Psalm 94

1 O Lord, you God of vengeance,
you God of vengeance, shine forth!
2 Rise up, O judge of the earth;
give to the proud what they deserve!
3 O Lord, how long shall the wicked,
how long shall the wicked exult?

4 They pour out their arrogant words;
all the evildoers boast.
5 They crush your people, O Lord,
and afflict your heritage.
6 They kill the widow and the stranger,
they murder the orphan,
7 and they say, ‘The Lord does not see;
the God of Jacob does not perceive.’

and condemn the innocent to death.
22 But the Lord has become my stronghold,
and my God the rock of my refuge.
23 He will repay them for their iniquity
and wipe them out for their wickedness;
the Lord our God will wipe them out.
