I reminded Brit Hume about the thumbs down tonight on Twitter. Brit kept making snide remarks because Trump didn’t make “personal remarks” about McCain. Why on earth should he? They didn’t like each other and McCain fought against us. Why should Trump be expected to praise the man now? DC people make me ill. Even Greta called Brit out for pushing the politics. Good for her.

John McCain was the darling of the media for eight years. Whenever they wanted a Republican to criticize President Bush, it was always "The Maverick" John McCain they ran to.
He was their choice for the 2008 GOP primary and did all they could to promote him knowing full well he would lose.
The day he lost the election, you never again heard the media refer to him as "THE MAVERICK".....
