The Democrats are far outnumbering the GOP voters today in the primaries in CT. Even with an awful Democrat governor in Malloy the GOP here cannot mobilize its voters. Nobody should get their hopes up about Stefanowski versus Lamont. This state has become a haven for guilt-ridden white leftists, illegal aliens and manufactured votes from Bridgeport, Hartford and New Haven. And, oh yeah, there are plenty of Never Trumpers in the GOP-leaning precincts.

As I said... I think with Hayes winning the Dem nomination of CT-5, I think Manny Santos will pick up the seat...and Bob Stepfanowski might pick up Connecticut’s Reagan Democrats, especially in blue collar area like East Hartford (my hometown).

Don’t forget the people who are independent. My brother is one after 20+ years of being a Republican. He owns a business in the Hartford area..

Do not count out those who belong to no party. They may not be very happy with the last 8 years.

You're right, Biggirl!

If I’m not mistaken, the Dem turnout is 30.4% while the Republican turnout is 31.3%. That is from the Second of State...

The Democrats are far outnumbering the GOP voters today in the primaries in CT.

I'm not seeing that.

As of 10:40pm, 141k Dem votes have been counted against 108K Republicans. Considering the voting registration (760k vs 446k), that's a pretty decent turnout for Republicans in this state and it can be argued that Republicans were more motivated to turn out tonight than the Democrats.

I hadn’t heard anything about him since he lost to Lieberman about a decade ago. Rats have a weak bench.

We are *thrilled* that Joe Markley won for Lt. Governor!! I really thought Erin Stewart had more support statewide.

Same here. Some pundit on local CBS WFSB Channel 3 just said Ned Lamont should beat Bob Stefanowski because he’s “much richer than Stefanowski” and can out-spend him. Hope he’s wrong...

Erin Stewart is a good mayor of New Britski (the nickname of New Britain). I hope she’ll stay involved in the Connecticut Republican Party.

WFSB forgot that voters are not looking for richest candidates, but candidates who’ll help the state...and the Republicans look like they have it this year...
