Democratic Rep. Joe Kennedy III called on the White House Wednesday to publicly recount what occurred in the private meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
If the White House does not come forward, Congress should bring the president's translator to testify, under subpoena if necessary, the Massachusetts congressman suggested during an interview on CNN’s "New Day."
Mr. Kennedy acknowledged that the proposal is complicated by potential legal issues around privilege, but he said "it shouldn’t get that far."

If I were Trump...I’d send the guy, and tell him to only testify in Russian, and each time they ask a question...respond only in Russian. And at some point, have the guy toss out soccer balls at the Representatives.

One of his favorite "refugee" stories is about a Brazilian woman who came into this country illegally to escape domestic abuse.
That's right. She couldn't leave her husband and go someplace else in Brazil, or Uruguay, or Argentina, or Peru or Chile or any other country between Brazil and here. Her only option was USA and we are obligated to accept domestic abuse as a reason.
