As much as you, I and everyone else would love to see him open the whole can of worms, if he does he’ll take an absolute beating and then, possibly, be setting himself up for obstruction charges, as frivolous as they may be. Rosenstein, et al are playing this whole thing like pro’s, as maddening as it is, because they categorize and hide all of it as “National Security Investigations”. Therefore, no one can see any of it. Using scare tactics to conceal their criminal conduct.
However, IMHO, if the President were to wait on the first case to come to a close, conviction - plea - acquittal, and declassify that one, exposing all the BS they’ve been up to, all their “secret methods”, etc, I think heads will start exploding.
I’ve been a little shaky in my support of him, at times, but I’ve become more and more confident as time goes by. I believe that whatever was on Weiner’s laptop, if it’s as bad as they say it is/could be, is known to the President. You cannot tell me that a guy from NY, w/ the connections he has to the NYPD, wasn’t given that info. I think he is a slier fox than anyone can imagine and that there are some people in government that support him, who are working in the shadows and providing him with information.
The saddest part of all of this, is that it happened, is happening, will continue to happen and if she had won, we woulnd’t know anything about it and it would only get worse.
And the NYPD is not naive. They don't trust the FBI. The NYPD would have made a backup copy of the HD content before turning it over to the Feds.
