No sh**! Why are liberals always taken by surprise by the conseqences of their idiocy?
It is quite literally a mental defect, or if you prefer a blind spot, an utter inability to foresee even the most obvious consequences.
At least that's the case in most liberals.
In the case of political leaders it's as likely as not deliberate malice.
Don't blame the pawns, they are no more capable of this than a deaf-mute is of singing opera.
Blame the ones using them for their own nefarious purposes.
