While in the meantime, Chick-fil-A is voted #1. Do they not wonder why?

My husband and I recently ate at Chick-fil-A at lunch time. Busiest fast food restaurant on the large shopping strip. We drove into the parking lot and had to maneuver around the two lanes of cars in the drive-thro. Found a spot and while walking in we noticed two young people working (standing)in the drive-throu. on one side of the building. They were taking orders along with the worker on the inside working the drive-throu. Making it three people working to taking orders.

We found a spot on the other side of the building where car orders were being picked up. STAY with me....There were two people standing in the pick-up line next to the pick-up window. These two were constantly changing because they were delivering orders from the inside. So workers when the order was filled they had someone to run it outside to the car. And this was two lines deep. THERE....WAS NO WAITING FOR AN ORDER! I've seen ANYTHING like it.

We went inside and walked up and placed our order. We turned around after the girl did our drinks and handed them to us. As we turned to find a table ..I Swear this is true...someone walked up to us and handed us our order!

Y’all know I don’t like eating out but have had to what with driving Mr. b to the doctor lately. And got food poisoning for 10 days thanks to illegals. Last week, I wanted to stop in at Chick-fil-A (next to the pharmacy) to do a good deed by them. The two lines were around the building and onto the street. You’re right about the employees taking orders up the line. Out in the rain, no less. Ack, neither of us enjoyed the $6 chick sandwich so won’t be back but glad I now know what it’s all about and more power to them.

Shh, McDonald’s $1 chick sandwich (must ask for mayo) is much tastier and has a paper wrapper so the insides don’t immediately fall out all over your lap while driving.

The spicy chicken sandwich from Chik-fil-a is a keeper. I think definitely better than McD’s (though their buttermilk chicken is pretty good, I’d say).

I wouldn’t argue with either if someone’s buying.
