Might be exempt from Federal overtime laws, but this is New York we are talking about in this case.

IF he worked 24 hours a day-—365 days a year, he would have been paid $8.67 an hour.

Due to the type of job it is, a flat salary is appropriate. He could have quit if he didn’t want the job.

There are many jobs in the USA that are NOT HOURLY + Overtime.

I would have gladly driven Trump for that salary. GLADLY.

This is up $7,000 from Cintron’s last raise in 2006, but the driver disputes that the 2010 salary was actually a raise since it came at the expense of his health insurance.

Health insurance change in 2010? Hmm, sounds like he should be suing Obama, not Trump.

The 47k was overturned by the courts...eventually. The IRS is allowed to make adjustments, but a doubling was too much at once to be considered an “adjustment”.

>>how would you use it in a sentence?<<

3 sentences:

“Your case is dismissed since you committed laches. You must avail yourself of legal remedies when they are current. You allowed yours to lapse through inaction.”

He has worked for the Trump organization for over 20 years, at $63K/yr for much of that time, he was paid a pretty penny, when the cost of living was much lower than it is today. I have Family that live in New York proper and have for decades. Their take was that living wise, he probably lived on the estate, so as to be available as needed. Typically an apartment above the garage, as is typical back in the day. This guy was treated well, evidently appreciated or would have left, and paid well.
I think outside influences are behind this, and he is probably ready to retire with a good cash influx to make it worth his while. However an ingrate, its typical of many from New York, who think it is normal behavior IMO.

I know he was treated well. And, when the details come out, I think you’re right, that there was more to his compensation than what the puppet masters have put in the law suit. I don’t think DJT ever lived on an estate, but I could be wrong, thought he was always in Trump Tower. And if the guy was his driver, he would have to be living nearby, if not somewhere in Trump Tower.

Someone got to him and has made him promises that they cannot keep and he’ll be cast aside, just like the porn star.

The Trump family estate (primary one) is Mar-a Lago https://www.townandcountrymag.com/style/home-decor/a7144/mar-a-lago-history/

Cintron was not paid hourly rather was paid a salary of, it’s reported, $62,700 in 2003, $68,000 in 2006, and $75,000 in 2010.

As for the rest...I tend to agree with you.

10-4

Didn’t delve too far into the story to see if he was a driver in NYC or Florida. If he was making that money in Florida, living at Mar a Lago, then he can go sh*t in a hat. That’s decent money in Florida. And probably only working half the month.
