White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Saturday responded to being kicked out of a Virginia restaurant after a server's post about the incident went viral.
Sanders confirmed the incident in a tweet, and said that she always treats those she disagrees with “respectfully.”
“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left,” Sanders tweeted. “Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”
Jaike Foley-Schultz, a waiter at the restaurant, posted on Facebook that he served Sanders and her family “for a total of 2 minutes” before the owner asked the press secretary’s party to leave.
Trump critics and supporters alike took to the restaurant’s Facebook and Yelp pages to leave one- or five-star reviews responding to the incident. “If you are a whining liberal feel free to eat here, if you are a TRUE AMERICAN stay away,” one Facebook user wrote.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, a five-star Yelp review read: “The best. I've heard that they serve crow to those deserving of it.”
Sanders is the third Trump administration official to be recently targeted at a restaurant, in addition to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and White House senior adviser Stephen Miller.

We are seeing the famous Milgram experiment acted out. If you don’t learn history, you are condemned to repeat it. And I think it’s funny that Trump is trying to stop the flow of Slaves that the Left demands to have. Now the left calls Trump a “Child Abuser” when Ice literally is rescuing them from Bandits, Coyotes, Sex Traders and Drug Lords.
Yes, I have been downtown. It is what you would expect from a town with two well-known universities.
There is something that you need to understand about Virginia, though. Cities are not part of counties, and counties don’t have cities.
Lexington itself is a very small blue city, surrounded by a very large number of red counties.
I doubt that the Red Hen’s clientele is coming primarily from the City of Lexington itself.
That’s a good idea. Get together your fellow conservatives and make reservations together. After everyone is seated, lead everyone into chanting “MAGA! MAGA! DONALD TRUMP!”. When the whiney one asks you all to leave, moon her on the way out.
For full effect, have a second sitting of a group of conservatives do a repeat performance.

Republicans shouldn’t eat out anywhere within 100 miles of DC. Except Trump Hotel. It’s too dangerous. If all GOP stopped eating out, that would shut down half the restaurants there. Send a message with their pocketbooks.

well, that’s all fine and dandy if you want to go out of business within a day or so, and lose your livelihood and capital investment ...
the proper way for almost ANY business to conduct itself is to treat ALL customers and potential customers with respect and provide ALL customers with the best possible product or service reasonably possible ... politics and religion should always be avoided and the only color that should matter is the color green ... I know all of this because I operate a small, successful service business ...
I really hate liberals. Seth Rogan was an ass when he refused a pic with Paul Ryan that Paul’s children requested then scolded him in front of the kids and now this. Was Sarah’s kids with her? They’re shameless.
You folks who are leaving reviews of the restaurant. It’s too obvious right now. Political reviews are being left all over the place for them (some pro too unfortunately). I can’t help but think waiting a few days or better yet a couple weeks will make your reviews seem more convincing and more likely to make it through any review/vetting process.
Just don’t forget about it. Treating people as second-class citizens because they have different political beliefs is dangerous, oppressive, and uncivilized. They are already trying to crush free speech and dehumanize conservatives by continually slandering us. They should not be allowed to put us on the back of the bus with their hatred and intolerance.

Not only ICE .... excise and taxation enforcement are cracking down on restaurants, big time. (cash to illegal workers) There’s a lot going on in the background that the media is not reporting on.
