Conservative columnist George Will is making the argument to vote against Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections.
In a piece published Friday in the Washington Post, Will says that President Trump's "zero tolerance" policy at the border was "the most telegenic example of misrule" and it provided “fresh if redundant evidence for the principle by which” independents and moderate Republicans should vote.
That principle he says is that the number of Republicans in office must be “substantially reduced.”

Question is - as the writers formerly known as conservatives jump the rails and head into self-comforting ‘ uniparty’ elitism

No, they aren't. Globalist/corporate RNC Republicans are throwing the election in November. They aren't even funding the candidates who support the Deplorable Agenda. How are we "winning" when McCain, Ryan, and McConnell (etc) haven't been run out of DC? When all 'pubs wouldn't vote for an immigration bill with some campaign promises fulfilled? When even with a majority and handing them the last election they didn't repeal and replace ObamaCare? A reading of European History between the Fall of Rome and modern Europe makes me wonder just what it does take to get power back to the people.

For the past decade or so, it seems that the conservative-liberal distinction has become less and less useful. In the 1960’s I was antiwar, anti big intrusive government, pro tradition, and passionately believed that the most fundamental human right was to be left alone when I am not intruding on someone else’s right. That made me a liberal. Today, I believe the same things and my colleagues call me a right wing, conspiracy theory wing nut.
In a world where John McCain, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, George Will and their ilk can be called conservative, I propose that the label has become useless. My classification system is a bit different: First, the “Don’t Tread on Me” party; second, the corporatist, globalist, statist, Satanist party.
My recommendation to George Will is the come out of the closet as a member of the second party I described above, abandon political punditry and become a baseball reporter. BTW, I think Will has declared that he is an atheist. That means that he never was and cannot be conservative in a way that is meaningful to freepers.
These are people who pretended to be Republican, in order to get themselves into position to influence conservative opinion.
Their true allegiance is to the Deep State, and the benefits it provides them.

We are. And Establishment Republicans have done everything in their power to enable the Dems rather than to support their campaign fodder. If there were a CoS, they would pull the strings, by alliances with dems. Then the nation would not just be over, our Constitutional rights would be erased.

No, there is nothing at risk. We have a failed corrupt government media complex/empire; Only the states can fix this. Yes there will be battles during a ART V COS and maybe secession will come out of it or a very corrected Constitution but in any case it has to be tried. The DC swamp is undrainable.
Will should just come out of the studio and admit he’s a Democrat. He’s not fooling anyone.

It’s all about homogenizing the population. Eradicate 3rd world countries by pushing out waves and waves of immigrants. We’ve seen it in many forms. Reaching for the least common denominator in education, normalizing what amounts to subsistence living standards that create a compliant population, carbon credits schemes to enrich poor nations selling offsets to industrialized nations and investing in a religion what controls and dominates populations.
Violence is needed. A country like Mexico can’t take care of it’s population, crime, economic well being that causes these refugees need to be answered by taking away their land piece by piece and turning it around piece by piece.

We had a plumber named George Will...long ago.He wasn’t very good.
I recall, years ago, Garrison Keillor telling one of his long winded stories, in short a guy had dropped something on his toe and lost the toenail, when it first started to grow back, it looked just like George Will!
I am amazed at the advances in medical science. They took a piece of McCain’s brain, transplanted it and regenerated the whole brain in Will. And no symptoms of rejection. Astounding.
