In theory they are supposed to be slaughtered with a swift knife at the throat.
In reality, it's as gruesome as an Isis video with the animal trying to get away and the butcher hacking over and over and over and kicking and throwing the animal around.
There have petitions to force them to stun the animals first so they're unconscious but...All cultures are equal.
