1. Re: the now famous picture: As a mother of four, when I saw the picture I immediately knew that this was a “tantrum” cry, not a “pleading for my mother” cry. Most mothers will recognize it as such, imo.
2. I have a simple solution that would save Americans millions and millions of dollars. A one time “get out of jail free card”. If we would simply, once we catch people coming in illegally, fingerprint them and drive them back to the border and make sure they cross back into Mexico. Tell them, we aren’t going to procecute this time, but we have your fingerprints. If you come in again, it will be a felony. This would deter all but the worst criminals from coming here illegally, and save us millions.
