Democrat Chuck Schumer, the Senate minority leader, just issued a very real threat against Barron Trump.
Schumer is calling on the NYPD and the Federal Government to STOP providing a security detail for Barron as he attends school in New York City.

The left is unhinged, aren’t they? Peter Fonda comes out of the woodwork, and says Barron Trump should be kidnapped by a pedophile? Are these people out of their minds?
The left is over playing their hand on this alien child thing.
While there is a policy debate to be had on the issue of alien families with children, the left is clearly not capable of having a rational discussion about what those policies should be.
If he actually did say this he’s snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. This issue was working for the losers on the Left but if he actually said that the Independents will be disgusted.

This is kinda misleading. He’s arguing that the feds should pay for a security detail, not the city. He is, however, suggesting that if the feds would not pay that the city provided detail be yanked. I doubt very much he expected that to happen though, DC loves spending money given any excuse at all.
