House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on Monday that she has “zero tolerance” for the GOP-backed immigration bills that President Donald Trump and House Republicans discussed on Tuesday. Pelosi made her remarks after visiting a detention center in San Diego, and they represent the sentiments of leading Democrats and amnesty advocates on the left who have expressed no interest whatsoever in recent days to giving a chance to any immigration legislation that a majority of Republicans, who control both chambers of Congress, will support.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), for instance, said on Tuesday that “legislation is not the way to go” when asked about how to find a solution for illegal immigrant children detained at the border.
“There are so many obstacles to legislation and when the president can do it with his own pen, it makes no sense,” Schumer reportedly said. “Legislation is not the way to go here when it’s so easy for the president to sign it.”

No one should be surprised. Since the days of GW Bush the Dims have been holding ANY “immigration reforms” hostage to “amnesty” - they want nothing to do with anything that does not include “amnesty”. They prefer the existing mess, and lack of any true reforms to continue, because with their friends in the media in tow, they will keep pushing for catch and realease forever.
Only a true wall will start to put an end to it.
Trump should push a bill that only covers separation of children from their parents, and goad the Democrats into opposing it. They probably would.
The woman is crazy. To any observer it is obvious that she thinks she is far superior than us mere mortals. Which is why she just rambles on and on.
This is a common syndrome among the democrats. They think that they are the elite and that we humans are not capable of making decisions on our own, that is why they have to decide for us. They run for public office because only they can decide what is best. They set up special laws for themselves because they are above the law. Many of them would be in prison if they were not protected by the FBI and the DOJ. What we are seeing now is far worse than Watergate ever was. But the media protects them. How sad that this country is being destroyed from the inside.

Yeah, right. Schumer just doesn’t want any Democrats on record supporting any legislation that might affect any of the Left’s illegal voters. They keep pushing Trump to ‘legislate’ like Obama did. Trump ought to come out and say he doesn’t believe in ‘legislating by EO or EA like Obama did. Congress is in place to make laws. Period.’
So basically, it doesn’t matter what the GOP does or does not do. If it is not the Democrat bill that is passed and implemented then no bill will be passed and implemented. This is also known as my way or the highway.
Not like it’s a surprise or anything. I seem to remember someone saying long long ago, “elections have consequences. We won. “
The President is required to enforce the law as is. If we were to grant the President the ability to change the law by mere stroke of the pen, then we have created a dictator and have lost our constitutional republic.

Until we remove from office all of the Bush League Republicans they will keep working to prevent US from stopping the illegal alien inundation.

What is going on now is the struggle to restore the Constitution and the rule of law.
Time for the House to pass the bill Pres. Trump wants and for McConnell to grow some nods and change the Senate rule to a majority vote needed to pass legislation...which is what the Democrats will do once they regain power.
