“Think of the children” is a common and well-recognized version of the appeal to emotion logical fallacy, and is sometimes called Lovejoy’s Law due to use of it being effectively ridiculed by The Simpsons via character Helen Lovejoy.

examples: "Climate Change" articles love the Argument from Authority or its variant The Bandwagon Argument--"Leading scientists say..." or "The debate is over--all scientists agree.."

Moral Equivalency and name calling--Nazi, racist, etc etc
