First of all, the stinking Commies, Fellow Travelers, and Dems began to go after Mr. Nixon, tooth and nail, when he was running against Helen Gahagen Douglas ( an ex-minor starlet and wife of Melvyn Douglas, the movie star ) for the Senate seat from California. And it got more and MORE ferocious, year by year!
Perhaps you aren't old enough to remember any of this, or waeren't tuned into politics and news , as a child, but I suggest that you look into this history, including the terrible attacks on Nixon, in South America, when he was VEEP and how the lefties tried to get Ike to NOT have him as his Veep/running-mate, when he ran for re-election.

The Commie infiltration, of the USA, goes back to the early part of the 20th century! And it was in FDR's administration, FROM THE VERY START, when our government was over run with them!
