I spent 22 years with GE. It was the model of efficiency and quality control. When you bought a GE tv, everything in it was made by GE. Now...a GE anything is only assembled by GE.

The problem started before Jeffrey Immelt. The problem lies with the "guru" Jack Welch who bought into the financial industry and diversified too far from the engineering core
immelt's entire tenure was firefighting.
Now the new guy is doing the right thing by shrinking and focusing on profitability. He's create a stronger and better GE
