I always thought this sort of silliness would be something I’d be immune to if I ever faced it. But, i had to attend an Unconscious Bias training session a few months ago where I sat for 4 hours watching video after video where the villain was always the only white, heterosexual, non-disabled male in the scene. The class was packed with POCs and women to keep the WMs from speaking out. I felt sick when I left that class. I was possibly triggered.
But then I went to Sonny’s and ate some BBQ and drove my 435 hp car over to the range and put 200 rounds through one of my Glocks and I felt better again. I had my White Privilege back!! Life is good. All hail the Patriarchy!

I used to tell them at work that I was the only one on the floor that didn’t have a speck of unconscious bias in me. It was always quite conscious.
It was also fun calling out the liberals when you could twist anything they said into unconscious bias.
