I doubt the average American understands the trade question with Canada. They don’t know that Canada taxes incoming dairy products from the US at 270%. These polls, especially, fail to state the problem and the reasons the President takes the action he does. In fact many put a negative and anti-Trump bias into their verbiage.

Either this was an insane push poll, or the sampling is biased
Or they asked loaded questions without mentioning names and then attributed responses to one leader or another based on the poll takers opinion
