They will never accept Trump, only tolerate him when he’s winning. Trump is not a swamp creature so he will never be acceptable. Trump is one of us, a patriot who loves people and that makes them despise him.
They will never “accept” President Trump . They will present that illusion. They despise him as they despise you.

Holding an emergency meeting and voting on cutting off the investigation’s funding on ground that it is incompetent, biased, and wasteful could work.
