President Donald Trump is more popular with his party than almost any other recent president, according to pollster John Zogby.
Zogby noted this week that Trump's high approval rating within his own party ranks him above every other recent president, aside from George W. Bush, at this point in their terms.
"His approval ratings within his own party are high," Zogby said at the Washington Foreign Press Center this week. "If you look today, 87 percent of Republicans give him a positive approval rating."
The Zogby Poll found in May that 86 percent of Republicans approve of Trump, compared to 13 percent who disapprove. "What's that mean? At this point in his presidency, Barack Obama had a 79 percent rating among Democrats," Zogby said. "The only president at this point in time in the presidency to outscore Donald Trump was George W. Bush at 95 percent, and of course, by this point in time, we had launched the war in Iraq. Ronald Reagan wasn't this high. Jack Kennedy wasn't this high. The GOP is the party of Trump."

A pissed off voter is a motivated voter, and man, am I pissed off. Following the revelations the FBI was operating as the armed enforcement wing of the DNC to meddle in the 2016 election, and they thought of Trump voters as POS; I am not amused.

Seems Trump does or says something every day that makes my heart leap for joy and my affection for him grows daily. This morning he called Comey “Scum.” .......it brought tears to my eyes. Tears of joy.

Exactly. The Dems are in furious denial that the same thing has happened to them, but it has. The one who figures out how to reconnect first will be the one that wins, and until that time we'll have Trumps and Bernies and the political class will continue to scratch its collective noggin.

The truth is, JFK was NOT all that popular once he had attained that office and the enthusiasm for him, even in the MSM ( the N.Y. Times even ran front page, top of the fold nasty articles about him, as time went by )began to wane, by this time in his term. And the ONLY reason he went to Dallas, that fateful day, was because he knew that he was going to lose re-election...even with LBJ as his VEEP and the voter fraud schemes. Yes, that is how BAD his numbers were.
The differnce between Trumps base and Reagan and W Bush’s base is this. The Reagan/W Bush base supported the Republican party because the Republican partt supported them. Trumps base sees the Republican party for waht it is, against Trump. There is no difference between congressional Republicans and Democrats. They both want Trump gone. With no Trump on the ballot in November, Trumps base may not come out for their Uniparty congressmen and senators.
