President Trump’s fixer and former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, has told those close to him that he is open to cooperating with federal investigators.
A source familiar with the matter told CNN Cohen has grown frustrated over the treatment he’s received from the President — who has gone out of his way to distance himself from his ex-lawyer since the FBI raided his home, Manhattan office and hotel room in April.
Federal agents seized more than a dozen electronic devices and several boxes of documents for their criminal investigation into Cohen’s personal financial dealings, including a $130,000 hush-money payment he made to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the presidential election.

Just yesterday, Rudy was on camera, saying this would never happen. Cohen is fighting to survive. Just as Manafort was until today. Too bad there is so little pushback from the White House. The Pres. tried to get better lawyers, but his own reputation for disregarding his lawyers advice probably made a few top attorneys turn him down.

The third was okay, but seasons four and five earth rocketed at startling speed.

This is true. I’ve no argument with this. These guys are but pawns in the chess game between Trump and the Swamp.
Expendable.
But Trump should pardon them anyway. Pre-pardon them, if you will. That’ll send a clear signal to the Swamp that they can jack around all they want. But to no end.

They will simply turn over the evidence to NY or some other state. Trumps pardons will not help them on that.
If Manafort and Cohen have committed crimes that have nothing to do with Trump, why should he pardon them ?
